The cuisine of Procida
The natural protagonists of Procidan cuisine are fish and seafood: always fresh, landed by local fishing boats that caught them during the night and sold them to the Marina Grande.
Also very good are the local wines, which can often be tasted in restaurants: they are home-grown and, with their light taste, they blend perfectly with the flavors of the local cuisine.
But there is much more: from the lemon salad (with oil, garlic, chilli and mint to the Procidana rabbit (garlic, white wine and tomatoes) and so on
for hundreds of imaginative recipes. With the delicious local lemons it is also produced “limoncello”, a digestive liqueur to drink chilled.
